Paloma Teppa & Andrew Antonaccio "2Alas" Collaboration
Preserved moss on wood.
88 x 3 x 92 in.
Paloma Teppa and Andrew Antonaccio "2ALAS" began collaborating as artists working in the inception of the Wynwood Arts District. The collaborative murals and wall sculptures combine Antonaccio's recognizable linear style and Teppa's preserved natural moss design. The triptych, or image composed by three individual works, is ready-to-hang wall sculpture depicting female facial features. The face represents the features with which we experience biophilia, using all of the senses. It represents an expression of wonder and making an idealist world that the next generation can live freely in.
Preserved moss needs no regular maintenance. Keep indoors or out of direct sunlight and rain to avoid fading. We recommend to lightly spray with water to refresh and fluff the moss after shipping or installation.
