Water daily while the plant is fruiting. Keep soil moist, and well-drained. Generally the variety has two weeks of early production that produces very good, high-quality strawberries. After the initial two weeks, size tends to drop off midseason. A second crop of very large Sweet Charlie berries are produced in the last week of it's season.
Sweet Charlie strawberry plant will produce between 1 and 2 pints of strawberries per season. Pick strawberries in the morning, when the fruits are cool, and immediately put them in the refrigerator. Wait until just before you eat or cook them to rinse the berries thoroughly with cool water.
