My name is Echinocactus grusonii but I am also known as Golden Barrel Cactus, or golden ball. I am globe-shaped with a ribbed stem and have sharp, yellow spines. I am native to Eastern Mexico but I was grown in Florida and am so happy to be going to my new home.

Water: 6 oz. once a month.
