Online Store Policy
Plant The Future ("PTF") utilizes only grade A plants in its arrangements. PTF offers a 7-Day guarantee on all its arrangements for defected plants. Defects include fungi, parasites, etc. Customer is required to bring in the plant to the store within the 7-day period for evaluation to determine cause of the problem. Issues with the plants related to watering, temperature and lighting are not considered defects and are the responsibility of the new owner upon receipt of the plant/arrangement.
Returns & Exchange Policy
All sales are final. Arrangements and plants cannot be returned or exchanged to PTF unless there is a defect with the plant. This policy is attributable to the fact that all our plants and arrangements are perishable and are sensitive to water, temperature, light and any other substance that they may come in contact with.
PTF does not allow orders to be canceled once they have been confirmed and paid for.
Shipping and Delivery Policy
PTF will attempt to deliver a product on the requested delivery day. However, delivery dates are non-binding estimates only. PTF is not responsible for any delays or early deliveries. PTF drivers do not telephone prior to delivering the orders, and cannot guarantee the time of delivery. All products are deemed accepted upon delivery of the product to customer or designated recipient’s address.
PTF is not responsible for:
- Items delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the sender.
- Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at time of delivery at the address supplied by the sender.
- Decreased product quality due to an incorrect delivery address supplied by the sender, or a re-route requested by the sender.
- Product quality problems caused by improper handling by the recipient.
Plant Replacement Policy
Arrangements can be brought back to the store for replacement of plants and make-up at any time. Customer will be charged only for the plants and makeup.
Butterfly Cocoon Guarantee
Plant the Future utilizes high quality butterfly cocoons that hatch within 5 - 45 days from day of purchase depending on the type of butterfly and the conditions of its new surroundings. From time to time, butterfly cocoons may be defected and may not hatch. Customers can bring back the damaged cocoon for a replacement. New cocoons can also be purchased to relive the butterfly experience as well. Customers will only be charged for the cocoon.
Gift certificates can be redeemed during checkout. Please note that Gift certificates cannot be used to cover shipping costs. Shipping costs must be paid via credit card separately during checkout.
